Flirting with Disaster..

Picture this....A Scene at a get-together!
"Hi X, How are you?"
"I am ok. How about you? OMG! What happened to you?"
"Oh, X don't ask. These couple of days, it had been so hot, and then suddenly the temperature dipped. Alas! My body could not take it."
"Jeez! this weather thing is killing me too!" Y took in a quick breath and continued, "My kids are sick. There is this strange bug floating around and in spite of ingesting airborne tablets. We all got it."

--------

BesidesTerrorism, Pathogens, and Pollution are killing humankind. Not to forget all the three are man-made! We are the creators of it although not intentionally, but all parts of the world are experiencing the brunt of it.
Result: Sorrow!
When tragedy strikes, and there is a loss. It is an eye opener, and we all pause, but then with the kind of competitive world, we live in. Soon we start to run along with the others, not realizing what is of importance and needs to be prioritized.

Amidst the cut-throat and aggressive life that we lead, most of us have forgotten what actually drives us. Passion is lost somewhere, and again most of us don't have the time to pause and look for it. Honestly, we are living in a world of zombies where we clown around just to get a 'LIKE' from others, thus, losing our identity.

Sure, there are a handful of people who talk about consciousness, awareness, and Life. But, most of the time it is perceived during the weekdays and boom! When the weekend is here..it's time to party, socialize, mingle. After all, networking can take us a long way!

Amidst all the above some of us want to be unique, gimcrack and shine out of the crowd. Thus, doing something extraordinary! Needless to say, this definition is defined differently by all of us :)

As I watch --- those wrinkles develop around my face, joints are getting frail.
I fear!
I fear for the coming generation. The Baton that we are carrying is all of the above, and needless to say; it is black and murky. I hope these children can shine it bright or else they will disappear into thin air as we have not taught them anything valuable!

Mantra for today: We are flirting with disaster. Let's pause and comprehend the situation.

Is there a Fear Factor?

My reasons for apprehensions are usually associated with chores, or emotions for a loved one.

My "But's" and "If's"that arise either due to some dilemma or due to my arthritis that  slows me down, which gives me a guilt factor and make me spring up in action more so to keep the feelings intact, and not create a scene.

It's not the fear that holds one back.

It is the regret to make someone unhappy especially when they are expecting something from you.

Expectations sure can be treacherous but, that's how we all get into a relationship in the first place, Correct?

Until man continues to live as a social animal, the fear factor will not die off since a life without relationships will cease all communications and correspondence.

Result
To live a life without fear,  man has either embraced solitude or has detached from the society.

Thus, until I decide to confinement, I wanna stay "afraid"

I want to have a fear factor within me since that helps the inside me to stay motivated and inspired to join in the hustle- bustle of the daily life. This kind of emotion even though can get stressful at times, helps me walk along with my brethren's who are also sailing in the same boat while strutting along the path of life.

However, when it comes to being afraid of things such as specific animals or certain events. I need to test my guts and determination to face those fears and get over them! Since in the end, it's all a sound practical judgement that is independent of each being.

We all fear something or the other in this life.

Mantra for today: Being afraid is like making a selection, choice is ours to make!

AK47 turns into Art

Guns, Violence, Bloodshed, Cries, Shouting and Uproar is becoming common.
Man has forgotten what peace is.

Guns are found everywhere. Sometimes to protect oneself from fanatic beings, who use these weapons as a toy. Gun has become another disease created by man and fortunately we have a solution to it.

Ban the Guns!
Let there be ceasefire amongst all countries that are fighting against each other. This will bring the usage of guns to a standstill.

Recently, artists decorated AK47's to highlight the ceasefire campaign and to promote peace.

Ever wonder what the world will be like, if no guns existed!
Sure, man will let out his anger by shouting, but that is it. We will not hear the loud gunshots, the terrified beings lurking in fear.

Ponder over the feeling of NO GUNS surrounding you and feel the liberation of fear and agony.

My Mantra for today: Peace
