Wordless Wednesday #92

Dirt = Kids
They could be the synonyms since it personifies a carefree attitude while having plain fun.

Alas! This same kid when grown up, chooses to play foul games that are dingy, indecent, and illegal. In short, becomes dirty again!

Makes me wonder
Is this love for dirt life long?

Mantra for today: Let's clean up our acts before we get buried in the dirt!

Camping under the blazing Sun

The boys arrived at the camp wearing rain jackets since the forecast said 60% rain. Overjoyed at the fact that the drought struck CA will get some sprinkles, these scouts did not want to dampen their spirits by being indoors.

Within minutes of their arrival, they were sweaty, perspiring and dripping.

"Boy! It is a hot one! How did the weather forecast rain with not a single cloud in sight." said one exasperated scout while removing his rain gear.

"Oh! rain, please come for thy children soak themselves in their sweat and are tormented," came a melodramatic dialog from behind.

Wordless Wednesday #88

When the Friends of the Pink Triangle met, they embraced their harsh past while rejoicing over the present.

The fact that their love has been legalized made them wear the pink triangle with pride! Thus, calling it a moment of man's progress since the 1930's.

Mantra for today: Embracing one and all leads to the development of man, which results in the growth of a nation.

Interpretation of Fall Season

Fall is around the corner, and as we enjoy the beautiful landscape around us.

I also feel it is trying to convey a message.

Comparing life of humans with the life span of the leaves on a tree (however, the number of years do not matter as the number of years we live: matters in deeds and not in years)

The green leaves represent man's youth and when they change color they signify wisdom of man.

Just as streets lighten up with the fall colors of the leaves.

The same way, man's wisdom resonates miles and we tend to see society beaming with positivity and progress.

Beauty lies in both the situations.

Man just ought to be aware of this special gift he possesses, and can always peep within during Spring, Summer or Winter season.

Mantra for today: Man possesses an alluring insight as a result he does not need reminders by the fall season.

Man's Independence

This week, I will highlight the various channels where man illusions about independence.

As soon as Man is born, he longs for independence. The freedom to do things, the ability to go anyplace. He yearns for flexibility, power, and privileges.

But, honestly Independence is just a myth.

We cannot do anything on our own. We all are in a circle of life where we are dependent on each other for our freedom, joy, happiness and even sorrows.

Man being a social animal. We are dependent on our loved ones. If they are happy, we can enjoy and have the liberty and freedom to move around or else we will be coop around them.

Joy and Sorrow are two sides of a coin, and we all are attracted to each of them as they impart wisdom and joy to man. This allows him to grow not only physically but also spiritually.

As man continues to make his decisions on what to wear, work, eat and play. His decisions are dependent on his aides around him. He will not be happy for long if he continues to tread on the path based on his decisions.

Man is happy in unison and thus, eventually his decisions will become biased. Community plays an important role in man's welfare and progress. Thus, making him inter-dependent on his fellow brethren.

Mantra for today: A community in consonance is a proof of happiness and progress.

Are we Puppets of the Society?

Society consists of intelligent men and we all are part of this community, however; ever wonder if we ever think or act on our own will?

It's the peer pressure that eats us alive.

Ponder on this
Peer pressure is stressing out man amidst the daily challenges of life.
Why is man becoming a puppet to the society?
Why can't he be a free-willed person and act and think according to his terms?

Science is suggesting that since Man is a social animal, he wants to follow the group. Chances are that the leader of this group could be a smart one or just another person like you and me who is following a trend. By following a person or a group, we have stopped thinking about our likes and dislikes and are moving ahead like a puppet. As a result our values are getting into the gutters.

We don't want to be puppets of this society, since we all are intelligent souls and we ought to learn from our mistakes and act accordingly.

Break the trend of following people and act wisely since chances are that if you are making a wise move, you could be followed eventually.

Imagine the impact it will make to our society and to our future generations.

Break the chains that hold you up, and breathe. You will find yourself ignited in all arenas.

Mantra for today:Think about your likings and dislikings.
