Wordless Wednesday #76

What is the significance of an abandoned home?
None!

The above is a relinquished bee hive that the bees vacated. Thus, of no importance anymore.

The same could be applied to our body that is our home, but once our soul decides to vacate it.
It's of no use, thus either buried or burnt.

Mantra for today: When the Body is a Temporary Home, why obsess over it. Just keep it nourished with Good Food and Good Mantras.

Wordless Wednesday #45

Walked on the street of Hollywood Wall of Fame, and the above is a click of THE Steven Spielberg.

His hand and footprints embedded into the floor.

There were imprints of many "famous" people on that street.

It made me wonder about the importance of us being today!

Even though we know that our body is mortal, yet our acts can only be patronized by our physical self since our Soul cannot be captured. Thus, gotta treasure it until we breathe our last!

Mantra for today: These bag of bones needs to be nurtured so that our acts can be captured in a respectable way!

A Recap and the season of Renewal

Join in the fun at WriteTribe Festival of Words – a seven day blogging challenge – 1st September to 7th September 2013.

The theme is to write about seven wonderful things that help shape our lives.

-------

We reach the end of our journey and while writing the different seasons that we all endeavor, I was equally enlightened as I researched and wrote the different junctures that we all labor through and strive to come out of it unharmed.

Thank you for all the memories we made together as we encouraged each other's writings and took home a lesson from each one of them.

A Recap of the last six days:

Seven Reasons for Man to Rebuild

After spending 364 days of our lives while keenly watching each date pass by...we enter a new year. That new year's eve we look back at historic events that either made us cry or laugh while we vow to make amends for the coming year so that it can be a better one!

That is the Time for Renewal.

A time to refurbish our Goals, Ideas, Plans, Relationships, Ambitions, Aspirations, and Desires.

With the hope to achieve new dimensions in our life. This could range from financial freedom to enlightenment.

Man came alone and will walk solo to the finishing line.

This reminds me of a beautiful song, "Ekla Chalo Re"

As I part from this seven day writing period, I wish all of mankind the success they deserve.

See you at the Finishing Line. Namaste!

Difference in Parenting

Becoming parents is divine.

Some people would give up their own life style to adapt to the tunes of the baby.

While some would just flush the baby down the toilet.

Seriously!

This mom in china was quite overwhelmed having a baby that she thought of getting rid of the little infant by a mere flush. She is a single mom and that could have been the reason for her insensitivity but, she could have had an abortion rather than keeping the baby full term, delivering it, and then getting rid of it.
How can an individual be so callous?

How can some parents be so divine and some be indifferent? We all have the same soul, body and mind. Is it the circumstances that make some parents hardhearted and some yearn to be good parents?

My 2 cents
No situation in life can be so miserable that one flushes another life down the toilet. It is how we translate our circumstances; that matters from an individual to individual.

Mantra for today: Translate each circumstance of your life in a positive way. It has something to teach you, each day.

Ways to feed the Mind, Body, and Soul

A human consists of a body and his soul. However, we spend most of our time appreciating our body and darned little time is spent on the soul, which actually is the prime gadget of our existence on this planet.

Since Time is money for most of us. Below are some ways we could nourish our body and soul at the same time.

  • Have sound relationships. Exit from relationships that are violent or abusive. Hoping that things will improve, is not gonna help. The nagging and shouting is hurting your mind, body and soul. Thus, End it.

  • Check what you ingest. Keeping a tab on what goes inside your body will take you miles with regards to your health. If health is good, mind and soul is happy. Awareness towards it will lead to happiness.

  • Nature walks. This uplifts your spirits and gives you an extra gush of oxygen to all the organs and the areas that are deprived of blood or are in pain. This will help you get a grip on all your emotions and give you ideas on how to tackle it. Result is that the mind and soul is relaxed which will give a healthy body.

  • Massages. These are helpful for the body and soul. Do not need to go to a professional. Use your own hands and massage that bruised area or the part that is giving signals of pain. Will see the difference!

Mantra for today: Take charge of yourself. This is your mind, body and soul.
